Located on the site of the former RAF Oakington base and surrounding farmland, Northstowe new town is delivered through a working partnership between South Cambridgeshire District Council, Cambridgeshire County Council.
Located on the site of the former RAF Oakington base and surrounding farmland, Northstowe new town is delivered through a working partnership between South Cambridgeshire District Council, Cambridgeshire County Council.
To support the new Northstowe community, Frank Shaw Associates have created an open and welcoming Education Campus. The campus includes a primary, secondary, post-16 and SEN school.

Strong urban design drivers ensured that the campus was woven seamlessly into the town centre and created three new public squares. The campus provided further local amenity through shared facilities and extensive community use.

Seeking to appropriately express this civic landmark, we have designed distinctive, high quality buildings, that are deliberately distinguished from nearby residential structures.
