Upcoming CFCI Events

The CFCI Easter Term programme will start this week with a visit to the NW Cambridge archaeological dig. Chris Evans, Director of the Cambridge Archaeological Unit, has offered to show members around on Thursday 24 April, meeting at 17.00 at Gravel Hill Farm. There is no charge for this event but please advise if you intend to come.  Bring stout shoes and weather protection.

Evening meetings begin the following Monday 28th April.  Dates and brief details follow:

Monday 28th April 2014: Low Carbon Development. Speakers from the Zero Carbon Hub and UEA will look at low energy, low carbon development particularly The Enterprise Centre at Norwich Research Park which is designed on PassivHaus principles.

Monday 19th May 2014: Addenbrookes Forum. Members of the development team including Laing Investments will look at this major development planned for the Addenbrooke's site.

Monday 9th June 2014: NW Cambridge Open Market Housing. This presentation will look at the University's approach to bringing forward market housing and its relationship with the key-worker housing.

These meetings will be at 6.30 in the Theatre at Fitzwilliam College and booking may be made using the form on the CFCI website.
