I got involved in the CAA when I moved to Cambridge in 2013. I was beginning to get interested in architecture as a more localised practice (though it would take about another 8 years to make that happen!).
I enjoyed the energy, passion and creativity that the CAA members brought to everything they did - I was inspired enough by it to become a co-editor of the Cambridge Architecture gazette, and to be Chair of the CAA for 5 years. It remains a source of inspiration and joy to me that so many people from different fields of work can be so excited and passionate about architecture - long may it continue!
